Since 1922 Cherry Hill has been a prominent Club not only in the Canadian private Club circle but the American as well.  The Club’s proximity to the American border is unique among private Clubs in Ontario.  The Club takes pride in the strength of the golf course, a Walter J. Travis design, hosting many local, provincial and national events, including the 1972 Canadian Open and the 2016 Mackenzie Tour – PGA TOUR  Canada Niagara Championship.

Position to be Filled: Golf Course Superintendent

Position Description:

Cherry Hill Club is seeking a Golf Course Superintendent for the 2020 season and beyond.  The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining excellent playing conditions for both the championship and the average golfer, while protecting the original Walter J. Travis course design.  The course will be maintained near championship standards on a continued basis, within weather and budget limitations, with the least amount of interference and inconsistencies.  Proven environmental stewardship and experienced resource management skills are essential to provide an excellent golf experience to all Members.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required. 

 

Proven Golf Course Superintendent experience at a Private Club is required by any potential candidates.  Growth in your skill set and career will be encouraged.

 

Salary

 

The expected employment package will include a salary range commensurate with the position and based on experience.

 

Employment

 

This is a year round full time position.
